We're running a tournament (again!)

The Ramsey Open Tennis Championship - Saturday 31 August 2024

This is a small tournament for members of the club, former members, members of other clubs and anyone who wants to compete.  We're hoping to run the following competitions:

• Mixed Doubles (max 8 pairs)
• Mens Singles (max 10 players)

The format will be round robin with semis and final so all players should be guaranteed at least 3 matches.  Please see the player pack and registration form (link attached below) which explains what and how but it's quite a lot to cram into one day so let's hope for some good weather as we will need all the courts.

Entry is £10 per person and the winners of each competition will receive a £50 voucher.  Men will be able to play in the mixed and singles (but that's a lot of tennis!) subject to paying the entry fee for each  The event is weather permitting on the day and in the run up, but the forecast looks very good this time round!

The mixed doubles competition will be played for the Rachel Wicks Memorial Trophy.  Rachel was a member of the club who tragically died from a brain injury and we think this will be a great way to remember her love of playing competitive tennis.
