There are two licensed and qualified Coaches, who provide classes, activities, camps and more at Ravenscourt Park:

Andy Keen

Andy is a highly experienced Tennis Coach – level 4 LTA Senior Performance and Accredited + coach. With 30 years coaching Tennis coaching experience with all levels of player, Andy has proven success in developing players of all levels and ages and helping them reach their full potential.

Andy and his team of highly experienced LTA Tennis Coaches (Ken, Hannah and William) Run and extensive coaching Programme for all ages and abilities including -

Extensive adult programme from Beginner to Advanced

Mini Tennis from 3 – 7 years Outdoors and Indoors

Junior Programme from 7-18 years for all levels

Indoor Winter Racket Ball in Hammersmith

Junior Tennis Camps ages 4-18 years everyday of School Holidays

Social Tennis Events

Andy's courses run on Courts 4,5 6 & 7, located at the South of the Park, near the garden centre, railway arches and Tube, Winter Racketball in Hammersmith Broadway

Foxes Club

For kids aged 18 months to 11 years, our weekly tennis classes are a chance to grab a racket and have some fun on the courts, learning new skills and making friends.

Led by qualified LTA coaches, our sessions cater to all abilities - from complete beginners and kids who just want to have fun, to those who fall in love with the game and want to develop their skills. Every session is age-appropriate, with clear and achievable milestones.

Through a mix of fun games and engaging drills, kids build better hand-eye coordination, improve their racket skills, and boost their agility - often without even realising they’re learning. That’s when you know it’s working.

Mahmuda Jafarey

Mahmuda Jafarey is an LTA Accredited Level 4 Senior Club Coach. She began her career in tennis as a tournament player and then switched into coaching. Previously the Head Coach at a top West London tennis club for 10 years she is now passionate about sharing her tennis knowledge to anyone who wants to learn to play. 

Mahmuda runs courses and drop-in sessions for adults and children of all abilities. She delivers courses as well as drop-in sessions, camps, and tournaments for juniors. Mahmuda also offers tennis coaching for schools, and birthday parties.

Coaching Licences

Council Byelaws require all coaching activities in the park be conducted under licence. There are a limited number of licences available. For any enquires and to apply for any vacancies please contact the Sports Office.

Currently, there are no licences available in Ravenscourt.
