Our History and Club Today
Redhill Lawn Tennis Club has a distinguished history, established in 1879, making it one of the first tennis clubs in the world.
Over the past decade, the club has undergone significant improvements. We have installed modern artificial clay courts, ensuring tennis remains a year-round sport. We also upgraded to state-of-the-art LED floodlights, invested heavily in our grounds, introduced Pickleball and modernised the clubhouse & bar. We have also won Surrey LTA club of the year.
We are proud to have partnered with Boom Coaching who provide award winning coaching to our members. Our head coach Dave is an LTA Level 5 and 2 time winner of coach of the year, in 2025 Boom won the LTA Surrey tennis opened up award and reached the final of the LTA national awards.
We pride ourselves on our inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, accommodating members of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a beginner, a purely social player, or a competitive athlete, you will find a place here. Our high-standard players regularly represent the club in National, Surrey, Weald, and Dorking & Leatherhead League matches and competitions.
