If you’re looking for a flexible side hustle that fits around your day job, studies, or family life, we might have the perfect "ace" for you.
We are looking for an organised, tech-savvy individual to take on the role of Membership Administrator. This is a self-employed position designed to keep our club running smoothly while putting some extra cash in your pocket.
What’s Involved?
This role is all about the "behind-the-scenes" magic that keeps our records in check. Your main focus will be managing our membership database using the LTA’s ClubSpark system (don’t worry, we’ll show you the ropes!).
Your week-to-week tasks will include:
* Being the First Point of Contact: Responding to email enquiries and on boarding new members.
* Database Management: Keeping our member lists up to date and ensuring we stay GDPR compliant.
* Member Care: Checking in with new members after a few weeks to make sure they’ve found people to play with and are making the most of the club
*Working alongside boom tennis to ensure coaching participants are members and integrated into club life
The Perks
This role is built to be flexible. Aside from a few specific meetings a year, you can do the bulk of the work whenever it suits you.
* The Pay: £16–£18 per hour (depending on your experience).
* The Hours: On average, it’s about 3 hours per week but can be split in anyway you choose
* The Flow: It gets a bit busier during tennis season (around 8 hours a week) and quieter in the winter, but we pay for 3 hours every week of the year to keep things simple.
* The Training: We provide 8 hours of paid training and plenty of support from the committee.
Is This You?
* IT Literate: Comfortable with emails and basic database software.
* A Great Communicator: Friendly, clear, and professional.
* Organised: Able to keep track of renewals and follow up on payment issues.
Note: You aren't required to join the Committee, though you'll pop into a couple of meetings a year to give us a quick update on how the numbers are looking. Meetings are generally monday around 8:00pm.
