What can you expect?
At the Blue stage, children will learn fundamental skills for tennis through play in a fun, stimulating and safe environment. Children will be encouraged to make decisions and positively cooperate with other children. Sessions will be active with skills being developed at an appropriate pace to the child’s experience and ability.
Notes from the coach
This class is for players aged 4-6. We use red balls, a smaller net and court. Players will learn lots of basic skills for tennis - including reading and sending the ball, agility, movement, balance and coordination drills. All drills will be building a player's skills for tennis, even if the children are not using a racket for every drill. Please note due to Covid we will operate a drop and go system and parents are not allowed in the bubble. We also ask parents to adhere to social distancing at drop off and pick up and to leave site promptly. If you have any questions please email Chrissie at tennisschool@reeds.surrey.sch.uk. Please note we need minimum numbers to run camps & sessions. If we have to cancel due to Covid we will refund you in full.
