Want to play more tennis, meet new people, and enjoy friendly competition right on your doorstep? The Barclays Local Tennis Leagues are the perfect way to get on court and play fun, recreational matches at your level – all in Hemel Hempstead!

Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills, get active, or just meet other local tennis fans, the leagues are open to everyone aged 18+.

Here’s how it works:
 

✅ Join a mixed singles league in your area through the Local Tennis League App
✅ You’re matched with players of a similar ability from your local area.
✅ Arrange matches when it suits you – evenings, weekends, you name it!

✅ Book and play your matches on any of the Hemel Hempstead Park courts
✅ Log your scores easily in the app and climb the leaderboard.  

✅ Complete matches to gain extra points and credits.
✅ It’s fun, friendly, and a great way to improve your game.

With the Local Tennis Leagues app, you can join a league, schedule matches, record your scores, view match history and even chat with other players, all at your fingertips.

When it comes to preparing for your match, we’ll send you all the information you need to get playing the day before the round starts, so you’re ready for match day!

Entry to the league is £21 and guarantees you a minimum of 5 matches. 

The deadline for the next round in Hemel Hempstead is the 16th June. The league then runs from 19th June until 13th Aug so plenty of time and flexibility to arrange your matches.
