Celebration of Tennis Event 12 September 2024

We will be holding a celebration of tennis event on 12 September 2024 at Robertson Park and Park Road tennis courts to showcase the new facilities. During the event, pupils from local schools in Renfrew and Johnstone will have the opportunity to participate in tennis coaching sessions to give them an introductory experience of the sport on the newly refurbished courts.

Introduction

Welcome to Renfrewshire Parks Tennis. 

The refurbishment of our 3 venues is part of a nationwide investment by the UK Government and LTA Tennis Foundation, delivered by the LTA, to refurbish public tennis courts across Great Britain, and open up the sport to many more people. 

Alongside the investment, OneRen will also work with the LTA to deliver a range of activities across the park sites. This will include organised free park tennis sessions for all playing levels with equipment provided as well as coaching for both juniors and adults.

Following recent refurbishment we are delighted to announce the re-opening of our 3 parks tennis venues.

To enhance your overall experience, we have partnered with the Lawn Tennis Association - Clubspark, a user-friendly platform that provides greater flexibility and control over bookings.  Within this system, you can easily view, modify, or cancel bookings at your convenience.  Additionally, you'll receive timely notifications, reminders, and updates, ensuring you stay informed.
