Royston Ladies 3 are having a fantastic winter season, unbeaten in 6 matches with only one left to play. They have an unassailable lead at the top of Div 5 with promotion almost certain.

On 10th November, away to Chatteris, Shirley Jones and Caroline McCormick had a tough first match taking the first set 7-5 but narrowing losing the second set 6-7. They went on to win their other match 6-3, 6-3. Christine Knight and Kate French beat Chatteris 1st pair 6-2, 6-2 and 2nd pair 6-1, 6-3. Overall the team comfortably won the rubber 7-1.

The success continued on Thursday 16th November, with a home match against Great Shelford Ladies 4. The team of Christine Knight, Kate French, Janice Turner and Jo Rees comfortably won the rubber 8-0, only dropping 9 games across the 8 sets.
