It was a very successful night for Saltford Tennis Club at Avon Tennis Awards on Thursday 20th October. We had a great turnout of league players and off court committee members as we had won so many awards.

We collected the County LTA awards for Club of the Year and Pete May was Volunteer of the Year.

In the league presentations Laura Sinclair and Millie Allen won best partnership for the Summer league which is a great achievement and it was second year in a row.

Laura Sinclair also won best ladies player of the summer league which she also won last year.

In the ladies summer league the Saltford 1st and 2nd teams topped their division 4B and 6A respectively and will be promoted next year and both received an award.

In the mens summer league the Saltford 1st team won their division 6A and will be promoted and also received an award.

It is an amazing result for a small community club and is down to the hard work of the ladies and mens captain Ann Page and Neil Willey together with the enthusiastic and committed league players. 
We are now planning to build a trophy cabinet in the new clubhouse!
