Welcome to Scone Tennis Club

COVID-19  VIRUS  UPDATE  21st JUNE 2020

Following the recent issue of Scottish Government and Tennis Scotland guidelines Courts were opened for limited play from Friday 29th May after the Scottish Government confirmed the move to Phase I.  Some changes to playing and coaching rules have been announced as part of the move to Phase II but players from outside each others household are still not able to partner each other.

A copy of the Club Committee’s updated version of guidance to members can be found under the Events tab on this website, click into it to see a precis of the main document.  The full Tennis Scotland guidelines including coaching updates can be found at https://www.lta.org.uk/globalassets/news/2020/guidance-for-tennis-venues--players-in-scotland---covid-19.pdf

As the weeks progress these guidelines may be altered or lifted. You will be updated as and when these occur.

In the meantime the Clubhouse continues to be shut which includes access to our toilet facilities.

All use of our courts has to be booked online through this website.  Members and non-members can book by clicking on the Court Booking tab above, if you are not registered with this website you will be asked to do so at the time of booking.  Initially members will be able to book from up to three days in advance and non-members from one day in advance.

Remember there should be a maximum of two people per court (singles play only). Players can be from different households.  (The only exception to the above is where doubles can be played between four players from the same household or two household groups.)

We hope you all enjoy your return to tennis.

Best wishes from

Audrey Paton

Club President
