Scone LTC Welcome to Scone Tennis Club
Welcome to Scone Tennis Club
We are a Scottish Charity, SCO33915, and as an active community resource we try to cater for all ages and standards.
Our vision is for our Tennis Club to be at the heart of our community and a source of social enjoyment. Scone is a growing and thriving place and our Club is developing to reflect that so our current and future members enjoy using our facilities.
Tennis is a rewarding physical challenge for those who play it, and a wonderful spectacle for those who watch. Anyone can play; whatever their motivation or ability, from all communities and backgrounds. At any age and for a whole lifetime, tennis provides physical, social and mental rewards both on and off the court. Tennis is a sport for all ages, all backgrounds, and all levels of fitness. Anyone can pick up a racket and everyone can be a part of the tennis family.
There are three really important aspects that enable our Club to thrive:
- Vibrant – It is an exciting, inclusive and social place to play and compete, with lots going on that encourages people to play more regularly. It is also welcoming so new people feel comfortable in trying tennis.
- Visible – Existing and new potential players in our community need to know what is going on and when. We will continue to raise our profile with regular communications and offering open tennis events.
- Viable – The Club’s structure, constitution, operations, finances and funding are appropriately managed to ensure the continued and future viability.
So why not join us at the Club and become part of our tennis family.
Autumn 2019 Update
During the autumn and winter months there will be social sessions for members and non-members on a Sunday afternoon and Tuesday evening. These sessions are free of charge for non-members and racquets and balls will be available.
We look forward to seeing you at the club.
