OUT OF HOURS SUPPORT
In order to keep court prices as low as possible we are unable to provide an out of hours service. If you encounter any difficulties out of hours please report them to us and we will investigate and where necessary issue appropriate refunds.
ALL COURT BOOKINGS NEED TO BE MADE ONLINE
* Floodlit court times vary according to daylight hours and when in use supersede peak and off-peak prices.
BOOKINGS
- Courts can be booked up to 7 days in advance online only.
- Players play on the courts at their own risk.
- Each customer may book a maximum of 2 court hours per day at any given venue.
- Customers may not book two separate courts for the same hour at any given venue.
- Attendance later than 15 minutes after the hour may result in the booking being sold to another player.
- Court bookings should be made in the name of a player who will be on the court. Players may be asked to leave the court if the named person who made the booking is not present.
- Junior bookings can only be made online during this period
- Newark Town Council accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage to personal possessions that occurs during a Sherwood Avenue Tennis activity or court booking.
- By booking the courts you are giving consent for Newark Town Council to:
- Store personal information about you to help deliver a better service
- Send relevant information to you about Sherwood Avenue Tennis Courts.
BOOKING TIMES
- Courts are generally available for booking from 8am to 9pm.
- Floodlights are not in use during summer periods.
CANCELLING/CHANGING A BOOKING
- You should cancel your own courts by logging into your Clubspark account up to 24 hours of ahead your booking. Please refer to this support page for further guidance.
- No refund will be provided for cancellations within 24hrs of a booking.
- If courts are unplayable at the time of the booking due to rain, puddling, or if a Yellow Weather Warning for Wind is in place, you must email post@newark.gov.uk within 48 hours of the booking to request a refund.
- Unplayable court requests will not be considered ahead of the time of the booking.
Newark Town Council accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage to personal possessions during a court booking.
