St Ann's Tennis

Tier 4: Courts Open, Singles Only

With Brighton & Hove going into Tier 4 restrictions on Boxing Day (26 Dec 2020), there are new rules for outdoor tennis at St Ann's Well Gardens, in accordance with LTA guidelines (see below).

The top line is this: members and visitors may continue to book courts as normal. Singles only. Doubles is only allowed with members of your own household/bubble.

Sunday afternoon club sessions, and all adult coaching groups are postponed until further notice.

Coaching: one-to-one coaching is allowed. See details on the St Ann's Tennis website.

Juniors: As we understand it, juniors coaching programmes (under 18s) may continue according to LTA guidelines. David Ince and Conrad Brunner are seeking clarification on this point.

It is also not clear if the public toilets at St Ann's Well Gardens will remain open under Tier 4.

We trust all St Ann's Tennis members and visitors will observe guidelines on social distancing. You know the drill: hands, face, space. It's a highly infection disease.

In the meantime, be careful out there. Enjoy your (socially distanced) singles tennis, and have a very Happy Christmas.
