Playing Tennis During Lockdown at St Serfs

Courts 1, 2 and 3 are now open for members.

There are many changes we have made in line with advice from the Scottish Government, the LTA and Tennis Scotland. Here is the link to the latest Tennis scotland guidance:

Please:

  • do not go to neighbours houses to retrieve any tennis balls
  • don't shout and swear when on court (we've had a complaint about behaviour on court)
  • arrive just 5 minutes before you are playing, dressed for tennis as we need to restrict clubhouse access

  • only 1 person should be in the clubhouse at a time to put on floodlights or use the toilet

Visitors fees are £3 - a visitor can only be brought to the club 3 times and after that they must join.

COURT BOOKINGS

  • courts must be booked through clubspark https://clubspark.lta.org/StSerfsLTC
  • Only singles can be played unless your doubles partner is from your household and the opposition pair live together in the same household.
  • courts can only be booked for 1 hour

At all times maintain social distancing (staying 2 m away from others) and do not come down to the club if you are unwell. If your court is not free on arrival at club then please wait till it is free.

TRAVELLING TO AND FROM CLUB

  • wash your hands with soap and water before leaving home and on your return
  • avoid using public transport
  • please do not arrive early for your game and leave the club immediately after your game
  • no spectating is allowed (unless parent/guardian with child or support for a vulnerable adult)
