Stanmore Tennis Club

Players & Visitors are asked to park considerately in  Stanmore Road before the false "roundabout" or in South Avenue.

There is a large amount of residential building going on so parking is difficult. Please be extra considerate & thoughtful!

Stanmore Tennis Club is an LTA registered club located in a residential area of Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich, accessed via a pedestrian pathway at the end of Stanmore Road NR7 0HB.  The club has 2 well maintained hard courts with floodlighting and a clubhouse with changing rooms & toilets. Membership includes free use of tennis balls & floodlighting. 

We welcome players of all ages & abilities.  We have four men's and three ladies' teams in the Norwich City League and two mixed and two Vets teams in the summer and two mixed teams in the Norfolk Winter League.  We also hold our own annual knockout competitions.

For social tennis we have a club evening on Wednesdays at 6.30pm.  We also hold fun doubles social events during the year.  As part of the Great British Tennis Weekend we hold an Open Day early in the summer.This is an opportunity for anybody interested in playing tennis to meet existing members and experience our friendly club.
