Stourpaine Tennis Club  runs various coaching sessions throughout the year, catering for all ages and abilities, using the services of Simon Kevern of Blandford Tennis Academy. Private coaching is also available.

Blandford Tennis Academy

is run by Head Coach Simon Kevern. Over the past few years they have been developing junior tennis in Blandford, both in the club and in school, with their coaches running sessions at every primary school in the Blandford School pyramid as well as the Blandford School itself. They run weekly sessions in six of the schools during term time. They have been one of the area  leaders in the LTA team Challenge competition with their events featured in Ace  Magazine, as well as one of the venues delivering the ‘Tennis for Kids’ programme.

 In 2018 they finished in the top three shortlisted for LTA Dorset club of the year.
