SUNNYSIDE TENNIS COURTS TERMS OF USE 

Yate Town Council – Casual Pay and Play Tennis Court Booking

  • Tennis court bookings can be made online through the Clubspark online booking facility.
  • One court can be booked for one hour at a cost of £3 per 60 minutes.
  • When you make a booking via Clubspark you will receive a confirmation email with a an access code to gain entry to the courts.  IMPORTANT - The code to the courts is changed on a regular basis and may change between the time you book and the date of your game.  You will recevie a further confirmation email from bookings@yatetowncouncil.gov.uk if this is the case for your booking.
  • For Tennis Club Block Bookings please email bookings@yatetowncouncil.gov.uk
  • You will need to register for the Pay and Play system when making your first online booking however, for subsequent bookings you can go directly to the bookings tab on the website.
  • Payment for your tennis court booking will be taken online during the booking process.
  • You may also cancel your bookings online. The booking cancellation window is 24 hours.

SUNNYSIDE TENNIS COURTS BOOKING RULES

  • Pay and Play Tennis can be booked up to 7 days in advance for 4 hours of tennis in blocks of no more than 2 hours.
  • Yate Town Council has the right to cancel bookings at their discretion and an email will be sent to the court users notifying them in advance.
  • Yate Town Council reserves the right to pre-book the courts when required for reasons such as for club block bookings, coaching sessions or any other Town Council event. 
  • Courts may be closed throughout the year for maintenance and repair. 
  • You are requested to  cancel your booking on line with the 24 hour cancellation window time frame if weather conditions are not suitable for playing.

SUNNYSIDE TENNIS COURTS RULES OF PLAY

  • Please wear appropriate sports clothing and footwear when using Sunnyside Tennis Courts.
  • The courts must only be used for tennis – no other ball games are permitted on the courts.
  • Please be mindful of local residents when playing on these courts eg no foul language or playing of music..
  • Sunnyside Tennis Courts and all other Yate Town Council Venues are designated no smoking areas.
  • Please leave the courts ready for the next hirer ie take all your belongings and rubbish away with you.
  • Sunnyside Tennis Courts are used at the hirers own risk.  Please apply common sense in with respect to your own health and safety and to that of  other court users. 
  • Please lock the courts properly when you leave.
  • Please do not let anyone else (who is not playing with you) on to the courts. If someone has made a booking they will have been given  their own access code to gain entry/ 
  • No person may provide paid coaching to  others on these courts unless this has been agreed in advance with  Yate Town Council. 
  • Any faults or issues with the courts should be reported as soon as possible to  Yate Town Council via bookings@yatetowncouncil.gov.uk

YOUR BOOKING

  • Tennis courts must be booked in advance of use via Clubspark online booking system.
  • If you encounter any problems with a booking that you have made in advance on line in the correct manner, please contact Yate Town Council on 01454 866506.
  • Please note as Sunnyside Tennis Courts are an unmanned venue any issues with court bookings can be resolved during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm).
  • Any hirer felt to be misusing or behaving in an anti-social manner will be asked to leave the courts and future bookings may not be accepted.
