Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the "time to play tennis" website, the ClubSpark mobile application, the GoCardless payment engine and attending any of our lessons (the "Services") operated by "time to play tennis".

Your access to and use of the Services are conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Services.

By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms then you may not access the Services.

Booking Tennis Lessons

If you wish to book any tennis lessons made available through the Services, you may be asked to supply certain information including, without limitation, your name, date of birth, address, telephone number and email address, including for any dependants taking lessons.

Subscriptions and Recurring Lessons

Some parts of the Services are billed on a monthly subscription basis ("Subscription(s)") in order to get the beneficial rate. All Subscriptions are by Direct Debit via our payment partner GoCardless. If joining a class mid-month, you will be charged upon joining a per class fee for lessons in that month which you will attend and then a fixed monthly fee thereafter. The fixed monthly fee has been calculated for the 50 weeks that we play during the year, broken down into 12 monthly, equal payments including the month of December when we are closed for 2 weeks.

When you book any Subscription, you will be enrolled automatically into that class on a weekly basis until you give notice in writing to doug.robinson@timetoplaytennis.com. 

• Tots Tennis Lessons at Nurseries & Pre-Schools – all children are allowed 1 free trial session at their nursery or preschool. This can be initiated by a parent/carer, a nursery member of staff or a "time to play tennis" coach. Thereafter a Booking Form must be completed and returned to "time to play tennis" and a Subscription taken out before they can attend another lesson. There are no refunds or credits if your child is not at nursery and unable to attend a lesson.
• Junior tennis coaching  in our public lessons – your child may attend a paid-for trial lesson which can be booked online in our Junior Tennis Lesson Finder. They can attend as many trials as you like subject to space availability, before taking out a Subscription. 

1. Tots Tennis at Nurseries or Pre-schools - £8 per lesson or £29.20 per month on Subscription.
2. Tots Tennis in our public lessons – £8.50 per lesson or £29.20 per month on Subscription.
3. Junior Coaching in our public lessons – £12 per lesson or £42 per month on Subscription.
4. Adult Coaching - Adult Tennis Lessons - all details on the specific Service.

In absence of a completed Direct Debit mandate, we reserve the right to charge customers at our per lesson rate, unless paying by Standing Order or regular ChildCare Voucher payments.

From time to time, we may run a promotion course, often using the LTA Tennis Programmes eg Tennis For Kids, Tennis Tuesdays, Advantage Tennis etc. These stand-alone lessons and courses also fall under these Terms and Conditions.

Holidays, Absences, Isolation, Illness, Injuries and Rain

• We are unable to give any refunds for any unnotified abscences.
• If you’re going to be away for any lessons in the month, and you let us know at least before the day of the lesson, or if we cancel a lesson due to bad weather, you can pay the single-lesson rate per lesson for the month which is £12 per single lesson or the flat monthly fee of £42, whichever is the lesser.

We will adjust your Direct Debit where possible in advance, or in the following month if payment had already been made for that month. For December, the flat fee of £42 will be charged as this covers the months where there have been 5 lessons in the month.

Private lessons

Private lessons must be paid in advance in order to confirm the lesson.  If you have asked to pay at the lesson and you do not turn up, you are still liable for the lesson fee. You can reschedule the lesson up to 24 hours prior to the lesson without incurring any extra cost. Cancellation of the lesson on the day or a no-show will still attract a fee.

Pay & Play - an Alternative Payment Option Instead of a monthly Subscription

The monthly Subscription price rate is the cheapest way to pay for weekly lessons if your attendance is regular. However, in certain circumstances, you might prefer to pay on a Pay & Play basis. These need to booked weekly on our Junior Tennis Lesson Finder and are subject to space availability

• Pay & Play Tots Tennis public lessons - £8.50
• Pay & Play Nursery or Pre-School lesson - £8
• Pay & Play Junior lessons - £12

Adult Supervision at Junior Lessons

Parents/Carers are not normally allowed to attend lessons on school or nursery premises unless permission has been gratnted by the nursery or school.

• Nursery lessons: a nursery member of staff will always be present along with the coach to maintain overall responsibility. It is the responsibility of the nursery staff to bring the children out for their lesson at the specified time. If a child misses their lesson for whatever reason, no refunds will be made.
• School lessons: a school member of staff will be responsible for ensuring the relevant children are in the right place for lessons run during the school day. The coach will be responsible for the children's care during the lesson and will ensure the children are handed over to a member of staff after the lesson.
• After-school clubs: a school member of staff will be responsible for ensuring the relevant children are in the right place for the start of the lesson and are handed over to the coach. The coach will be responsible for the child's care during the stipulated time of the after-school activity. Children must be collected promptly from the after-school club as per the club's joining instructions ie time and location of collection point. If a parent/carer is going to be late to collect a child, a text message must be sent to the coach prior to the end of the lesson. If no message has been received within 5 minutes of the lesson ending, a charge of £5 per minute will be levied. Payment must be made before the child is allowed to attend the club again. No refunds will be given for missed lessons.
• Public lessons: a parent or carer must remain on site for all children aged  8 years old or under attending any lesson, and the parent/carer may be asked to help their child within the lesson. Parents are welcome to leave children aged 9 and over within the care of the coach, and return at the end of the lesson to collect their child. If a parent/carer is going to be late to collect a child, a text message must be sent to the coach prior to the end of the lesson. If no message has been received within 5 minutes of the lesson ending, a charge of £5 per minute will be levied. Payment must be made before the child is allowed to attend the class again.

Termination of service

Any coach employed by "time to play tennis" has the right to refuse a player into the lesson for any reason they see fit, without the need for negotiation or discussion.

On rare occasions, it might not be possible to deliver a scheduled lesson. When and if this happens, the coach will make all reasonable attempts to contact the customer beforehand if possible. Where possible, the lesson will be re-scheduled.

"time to play tennis" has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that "time to play tennis" shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time.
