Welcome to Tain Tennis Club

About us

Tain Tennis Club is a friendly tennis club founded in 18947 and located on the southern shore of the Dornoch Firth, about 25 miles northeast of Inverness.

Our facilities are three all-weather outdoor floodlit courts in Wimbledon colours, a practice wall, a mini court, a cosy clubhouse and parking area.

We are currently the most northerly club in Great Britain. Member of the Highlands District Tennis Association. Working in partnership with Tennis Scotland, we are also proudly affiliated with the LTA.

We play in the Highland Tennis District Leagues with Ladies, Gents, 12U, 10U,  9U &  8U teams each season.

Scott Fraser, the club coach, runs a comprehensive coaching program covering both juniors and adults.

Whether you are taking up tennis for the first time or want to play competitive tennis, Tain Tennis Club welcomes new members at any time of the year.
