The annual Tarvin Village Quiz is held over 2 Fridays and is a knockout quiz with 16 teams of 4 entering. On Friday 6th the team consisted of Colin Pym, Mark Butler, Rowena Okell and Julia Burgess. It was a high scoring round with the tennis club clinching victory by 26-25. 

Friday 13th saw Felicity Pochin swap with Rowena. The team beat the Tarvin Tics convincingly, then beat Simple Minds in a well fought semi final before losing to last years victors, The Railway in a 30-27 tight round. It all came down to the first question which passed over to the Railway!

All in all 2 fun weeks. The community centre put on 2 excellent evenings with a bar, raffle and refreshments run by 3 year 11 students from Tarporley raising money to go to Costa Rica.
