Play and Playing Conditions (as stipulated in point 6 of the Taynton and Tibberton Tennis Club Constitution):
Play shall be in accordance with the laws of Tennis as laid down by the LTA.
All players using the courts or representing the Club shall wear correct clothing and footwear as recommended by the LTA. On no occasion shall any player wear shoes other than those suitable for use on hard surface courts.
Members may bring guests to the courts for the purpose of playing upon payment of a guest fee. Members shall be responsible for collection of such fees which may be handed to any Executive Committee member of the Club. Players may not be guests on more than 3 occasions in one season.
Upon payment of the appropriate membership subscription the member will be provided with the tennis court lock combination, such combination to be changed by the Executive Committee annually at the start of the new season (or more frequently if deemed necessary). Members must not divulge this lock combination to non-members as it could lead to players being uninsured under the LTA insurance cover.
Members must ensure that courts are locked on completion of play.
Members must book a court to play and are requested to limit their booking to a maximum of 120 minutes at any one session.
Club sessions may be arranged and determined at the AGM. No private play will be allowed during these times.
Courts will be reserved for club sessions, coaching, friendly and league matches at certain times and members can view this via the booking portal.
