- Definitions
In these terms and Conditions:
- “Booking”: means any session, course, or programme booked with Tenaceous Tennis.
- “Course”: means any coaching session, programme, or training service provided.
- “Coach/Coaching Provider”: means Tenaceous Tennis and its appointed coaches.
- “Venue”: means the tennis courts or facilities where sessions take place.
- “You/Player”: means the individual making the booking or participating in sessions.
- Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking, you confirm that:
- You have read and understand these Terms and Conditions
- You agree to be bound by them
- You agree to follow all Venue rules and safety requirements
- Bookings & Payment
- All sessions must be booked in advance
- Payment must be made in full prior to the session or course start date unless otherwise agreed
- A Booking in only confirmed once payment has been received
- Tenaceous Tennis reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings at its discretion
- Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Individual Lessons (1:1/1:2)
- Minimum 48 hours notice required to cancel or reschedule
- Late cancellations made within 48 hours: no refund
- Missed sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable
- Course / Group Programmes
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the course start date: can be rescheduled /credited for a catch-up session, no refund is applicable
- Cancellations made within 7 days: no refund
- Missed sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable unless agreed with eh Lead coach of the session player booked into
- Coach Cancellation
- If Tenceous Tennis cancels a session, player who participates in the session will be offered a reschedule catch-up session by the lead coach
- Weather Policy
- Sessions may be cancelled if conditions are unsafe (e.g. Heavy rain, slippery courts, snow)
- Light rain does not automatically cancel session; the lead coach will send the cancellations confirmation email maximum 1.5hours or minimum 1 hour before the session starts
- All the cancelled sessions will be rescheduled or credited where possible
- Attendance & Punctuality
- Players must arrive on time and be ready to play
- Sessions will end at the scheduled time regardless of late arrival
- No additional time or refunds will be given for lateness
- Conduct & Court Etiquette
Players must:
- Wear appropriate tennis attire and non-marking shoes
- Show respect to coaches, staffs, and other players
- Follow basic tennis etiquette (wait before retrieving balls, minimise disruption)
Tenaceous Tennis reserve the right to remove any participant for:
- Disruptive behaviour
- Unsafe conduct
- Abuse towards staff or players
(No refund will be provided in such case)
- Safeguarding (Junior and Adult)
- Parents/Guardians are responsible for drop-off and collection on time
- Players under 10 must be supervised appropriately
- Emergency contact details must be provided
- Tenaceous tennis is not responsible outside session times
- Health & Fitness
- Players participate at their own risk
- Any injuries or medical conditions must be disclosed prior to sessions
- You confirm you are physically fit to participate
- Liability
Tenaceous Tennis is not liable for:
- Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings
- Injuries sustained during sessions, except where caused by proven negligence
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law
- Venue Rules
All players must comply with the rules of the Venue, this includes:
- No food on court, except water/sports drinks
- Appropriate noise levels and behaviour
- Following court booking and usage policies
- Take personal rubbish out after the session finished
- No smoke, weeds, vape, or alcohol drinks on court
- Photography & Media
- Photos or videos may be taken for coaching or promotional purposes
- If you do not wish to be included, you must notify us in writing/email prior to sessions
- Data Protection
Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws. Data is used only for:
- Booking management
- Communication
- Coaching delivery
- Force Majeure
Tenaceous Tennis shall not be liable for failure to deliver services dur to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:
- Weather
- Facility closures
- Government restrictions
- Changes to Terms
- Tenaceous Tennis reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time
- The lates version will apply to all bookings
- Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts
