LADIES 55s (August 2025)

Back to back ties in Essex & Bucks this weekend resulted in two defeats for the Cornish ladies 55s team.

A narrow defeat: 3-2 on Friday v Essex in an extremely hot indoor centre. Max won her singles impressively and paired up with Tina to win their doubles match.

Bucks were very aware of our previous wins v Surrey, Kent & Middlesex and put out a strong team to win 5-0 on Saturday. We missed Flora & Julie!

Despite this, the loyalty, passion & spirit demonstrated by Maxine, Sarah, Cairine & Tina could never be beaten!

Three wins out of five for 2025 will probably secure their place in Division 1 for 2026.
