This week is Volunteers’ Week, a time to recognise and thank the amazing people who dedicate their time, energy, and passion to make our tennis community in Lancashire thrive. From 2nd to 8th June, we’re joining the nationwide celebration to say a huge thank you to every volunteer who makes a difference in our sport.
Volunteers truly are the backbone of tennis in Lancashire. They are the smiling faces at club nights, the tireless helpers at competitions, the dedicated committee members behind the scenes, and the friendly coaches and mentors who inspire the next generation of players. Without them, so much of what we love about tennis simply wouldn’t happen.
We’re so proud to have such an incredible network of volunteers in our County. Their kindness, generosity, and unwavering enthusiasm help create a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who picks up a racket.
If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, there’s never been a better time to volunteer in tennis! Volunteering is a fantastic way to meet new people, learn new skills, and make a real impact on tennis across Lancashire.
So, to all our volunteers past and present...thank you! Your contribution is what makes tennis in our County so special. Let’s keep working together to grow our game and share the love of tennis far and wide.
