applications received.
- Tennis Activity Grants
Veenues are encouraged to apply for grant funding towards new tennis activities to support increased participation in the sport. Funding can be used for a variety of projects including school-club links, club development, disability tennis and equipment. Please use the application form to submit your funding request.
Coaching Qualifications
Tennis Lancashire has two different funding opportunites for individuals wishing to start or progress on through their coaching qualifications.
Coaching Qualification Grants - applicants aged 17 & Under
Young people aged 17 & under can apply for funding through the Lancashire Tennis Junior Development Trust to help them complete ther Level 1 or Level 2 Coaching Qualifcations. Please find more information and the application form here
Please note applicants can only apply once for this fund i.e for their Level 1 or Level 2 Qualificaion and not for both.
Tennis Lancashire Coaching Qualification Funding
Tennis Lancashire recognise that the qualifications require a high degree of commitment from the coach and also appreciates the financial obligations in paying the fees at the start of the course and loss of earnings attending the modules. Tennis Lancashire would like to support its coaches to develop individually and thereby increase the quality of tennis coaching for players and clubs in Lancashire. Financial constraints mean that not all coaches who apply will be successful so applications will be based on how the coach intends to benefit the players, club and County as well as themselves.
This funding is available for Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.
More information and the application form can be found here
LTA Court Craft Inclusion Coach Grant Funding 2026
There has been a lot of work identifying and taking positive action to support coaches from under-represented groups, including female, ethnically diverse and disabled. Court Craft (in partnership with the LTA) will continue to help support those in under represented groups who may be interested in tennis and padel coaching.
Please complete this application form if you qualify within the above groups and would like to receive a coach grant (up to 50% of the core costs).
If you are seeking coach mentoring support rather than a grant, please contact info@court-craft.co.uk to discuss opportunities.
The LTA Court Craft funding will prioritise funding support towards people booking on,
a) LTA Instructor (Level 2) / Padel Instructor (Level 2)
A smaller amount may be allocated to LTA Assistant projects, or bespoke requests (depending on local need and available funding).
Once reviewed by Court Craft, successful candidates will be contacted and asked to complete a grant agreement document, which can be found here. Further information will also be shared about how the grant will be reimbursed on completion of core work linked to the relevant course.
The funding will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, along with learners meeting the grant policy requirements.
If you would like to discuss, or receive the information and application in a different format, please contact info@court-craft.co.uk
