Last weekend saw the annual LTA 12 & Under County Cup events take place.

12 & Under Boys County Cup

Team           Albert Belfrage, Jude Cockcroft, Joseph Dixon, Max Dutton, Jacob Fagan and Jude Kay.

The Boy's who were competing in Division 2B at Chatsworth Tennis Centre, Carslie praticsed on Friday afternoon and then travelled up to the venue. Saturday saw a great start with 6-0 win's against both Shropshire and North Wales with the Lancashire boys not losing a set. Sunday started similarly with the Boy's beating Staffordshire 5-1, next up however was Cheshire who the team knew would be their toughest opponents. It was a tough start for the team losing 3 of the 4 singles matches with lots of tie break sets. In doubles both matches were lost with Max and Alfred losing in a match tie break. The Cheshire team were just too strong but the boys put up a great fight and left it all on court.
