Launched in 2015 with the help of former LTA president Cathie Sabin OBE, the awards recognise the many thousands of inspirational individuals involved in tennis, dedicating their precious time and energy to the continual development and growth of the sport.
Nominations for the 2023 Awards are open until November and can be submitted via an online nomination form (https://fs18.formsite.com/ltaadmin/clud28oznk/index.html)
There are 14 award categories to choose from covering both individual and collective recognition and criteria for each category has been set to give nominees a clear indication of what the LTA would expect to see from the award winners. LTA Volunteering Manager, Alex Beaumont, said: “The LTA Tennis Awards are our way of thanking and celebrating those who provide such a valuable contribution to tennis in Britain, from grassroots through to the elite level.
“There have been so many inspiring stories from the tennis community over the last year and the 2023 LTA Tennis Awards provides the opportunity to recognise the individuals, clubs and venues across the country that have done so much for our sport during this period.
“I would encourage you to recognise those that you think are most deserving of an award nomination and we wish all those nominated the very best of luck.”
