The Lancashire Men's 35 & Over team competed last weekend (8-10th August) at Devonshire Park, Eastbourne in the LTA County Cup Event.

The team of Anthony Hardman, John Lister, Mark Openshaw, Simon Roberts and captain Andy Davies competed in Division 4b against Bedfordshire, East of Scotland and Essex. 

The team took on Essex in their first match winning 3-2 in a fixture thwated by injury as 3 walkover's were given to Lancashire. Saturday saw the men take on Bedfordshire with a strong 3-1 win with the final rubber not played. The final day saw the team take on East of Scotland knowing if they won they would gain promotion to Division 3. After some tight matches the men won 3-1 to secure promotion for 2026. 

Special mention to Andy who was unbeaten over the weekend winning 5 out of 5 mathces.
