The Youth & National Leagues are primarily a singles based team competition for all abilities and ages, providing regular league matches against similar standard players in a competitive team environment. Team competition is a great way for players to play tennis in a fun and sociable environment and is a proven tool to attract and retain players. The LTA Youth League & National League competition is the biggest team competition in Great Britain, and we would love your venue to be involved!
The 8U-18U age groups within the county are part of the LTA Youth League, with the adult age groups being part of the LTA National League. The competition runs from March to July in a 12-week league season and provides a local, fun and exciting tennis experience for players of all ages from 8&U to Seniors.
NEW FOR 2025
Tennis Lancashire have be running the 8 & Under event at a central venue for many years and in 2024 changed the 9 & Under age group to also be run at a central venue. In 2025 the 8, 9 and 10 & Under age groups will be run on one day a central venue and organised by a referee so your players and parents can just turn up and play tennis.
Please note all adult events and mini tennis events (8,9 & 10 & Under) are teams of 4 players. All junior age groups (11 & Under to 18 & Under are teams of 2 players)
