As the Isle of Man did not attend both singles were played on the first day . The first match was against Northants and all six singles went on at the same time. The only win that was achieved was at 6 (Morgan Harding) so after the first round we were 5-1 down.

The next round saw Northants playing South of Scotland. Northants played extremely well beating Scotland 6-0 and effectively  winning the group. After another short break we went back on against Scotland, Sam Thompson who picked up an injury against Northants at number  one dropped out moving Seb Birchall up to the top spot. unfortunately Seb lost at 1. Sam Morris, Owen Critchell, William Owens, and Morgan Harding all won, so we ended the day 4-2 up. A 9 am start on Sunday at Wrexham saw North Wales boys lose all 3 doubles to Northants giving an 8-1 loss overall. Next up Northants finished Scotland off 9-0 . After lunch North Wales played South of Scotland and won all 3 doubles for a 7-2 win. So the weekend ended on a high and the boys took their short trip home in good spirits.
