North Wales players compete at the Tennis County Championships

Players from Wrexham, Rhos-on-Sea, Mold, Denbigh and Ruthin were among the winners at the 2019 North Wales County Championships.

The Grade 4 event was held across the final two weekends in September, on the Indoor Courts at Wrexham Tennis Centre, catering for local North Wales juniors with events ranging from 8-and-under through to 18-and-under singles events.

“This is a fantastic competition for local juniors across North Wales to compete in,” said Tennis Wales Competition Manager, Mark Lewis. “The facilities, the organisation that goes into the event before, during and after, the welcoming atmosphere, all play their part in making this a must for any juniors currently competing across North Wales.

“Congratulations to everyone who took part as well as our North Wales Champions.”
