Good News – we can now use our Outdoor courts - Tennis and Padel, ONLY.  

Below are the rules within which we can do this, and at this time we cannot step outside of these rules and guidelines, which have come from Government and the LTA.  We ask that you adhere to them so we can all benefit from our club being re-opened in this limited capacity outside.

General Rules

  1. There will be a one way system to follow
  2. Clubhouse and bar will remain closed
  3. You must bring your own courtime refreshment e.g. water. Water will be available to buy in bottles from Reception, the water cooler remains out of use
  4. All litter without exception you take home with you, or place in waste bins – do not leave around
  5. You must leave the premises as soon as you have completed play
  6. The booking sheet has been adjusted to reflect staggered booking times
  7. There will be a 15 minute gap between court bookings to allow people to leave and new players to arrive
  8. Courts should be booked and paid for in advance via our website
  9. Any payments that need to be taken at the club can either be done so as contactless with the card machine, or taken over the phone using a Virtual Terminal – courts must be paid for in advance
  10. NO cash payments will be taken  - it has to be online or contactless
  11. No hire racquets or balls – players must bring their own or buy balls and take them away with them. Coaches must set aside balls which have been used for a 72 hour period after which they can be used again
  12. Second hand racquets which are clean are available to buy
  13. Do not share benches together
  14. Wash your hands before arrival and after leaving
  15. There will be a sanitisation point for when you arrival

  3. There will be clear markings on access and exit from courts
  4. Courts at times will have designated playing or coaching use – please follow the booking  for each
  5. You must wear a glove on your non playing hand – there are disposable gloves provided next to the sanitisation point

  3. Safe distance between coach and player will be adhered to i.e. 2 metres
  4. NO cash payments will be taken so coaches and their customers need to arrange their payment processes but cash is not to be transacted

It’s great to be able to get back on court even in this limited sense, but it is of paramount importance you all follow these rules and guidelines until further notice both for yours and everyone’s safety, health and well-being, and to ensure no indiscretions lead to a forced closure.
