Aldersbrook LTC junior tennis coaching located in Wanstead, East London. Children tennis lessons from 4 to 16 years old, and holiday camps from 4 to 16 years old.
The basis of our lessons´s success is putting into practice, through appropriate exercises, a style of tennis based on acceleration, attack and defence, balance and footwork. This way, players learn to automatise movements, develop a solid, organised style of play, learn to choose and successfully manage their emotions and relationships on and off court.
At Tennis Come True we teach more than just tennis. We consider tennis a nearly perfect sport to teach players the many life lessons that are so important for all champions to learn. Values such as hard work, passion, friendship, and integrity, amongst others, are the pillars of everything we do in a tennis court.
Junior Coaching Plan
For your convinience we have addapted our coaching price into comfortable monthly payments,
- Each course is designed to cater for players of a similar standard and playing experience.
- You can join any group coaching at any time, just booking from the start dates shown bellow.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time - 1 month in advance notice (before payment date 1st of the month). E.g. to cancel from July please let us know no later than on 31st of May.
- Please note that there are different prices for ALTC Members and Non-Member
- In case the course you want to book is full please leave your details in the Waiting List.
- Please ensure you read the relevant Coaching Policy in full.
- All equipment is provided.
In order to enrol in the Group Coaching Courses players are required to become members of Aldersbrook LTC or to pay Non-members price. Check more information about ALTC Membership Packcage.
LITTLE TENNIS STARS 4 - 6 YEARS OLD | BLUE STAGE
This is an introduction to tennis. Here, we’ll help kids improve their balance, agility and coordination while teaching them about the sport we love. At this stage it’s not about winning or losing, it’s just getting to grips with the basics.

LITTLE TENNIS STARS 6 - 8 YEARS OLD | RED STAGE
This will look a bit more like the tennis you know. You’ll see overarm serves, rallies and volleys. Coaches will help children to further develop their co-ordination, balance and speed. We’ll introduce relaxed competition here too.

LITTLE TENNIS STARS 8 - 10 YEARS OLD | ORANGE - GREEN STAGE
This is the big one. It’s time for kids to play on full size courts. Time to throw in some tactics, problem-solving, and guides to sportsmanship and leadership. At this stage children will know all of the rules and will be serving and returning in matches.

JUNIOR COURSE 11-17 YEARS OLD | YELLOW STAGE
Time to find your game. Playing on a full size court with the same size balls the pros use, kids will continue to explore different styles on the court, and start to choose their own.

Important Information Regarding Junior Courses Booking
Aldersbrook LTC Terms and Conditions:
- By booking a place on this course for your child at Aldersbrook Lawn Tennis Club, you are agreeing to abide by the ALTC's Terms & Conditions.
- To safeguard your child,all children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times while on the club site.
- If your child is aged 12-14, please sign below to say that you agree that they may travel to and from the coaching session independently and that you will be responsible for them observing the club rules.
- Junior members, accompanying parents & siblings, and non-member coaching attendees are all required to respect the property of Aldersbrook Tennis Club .
- Cleaning materials are provided in the kitchen if needed, to ensure that the Clubhouse can be left fit for use by other members. Misuse of ALTC property may result in the suspension of the right to use the Club facilities. CCTV is in operation to monitor use of the Club House.
