Tennis Isle Of Man Ladder League

We have an Island wide singles ladder currently.  It’s open to players of all ages (parents of 18U will need to contact Chris Butler (IOMLTA Officer) directly for further details) and abilities and is run through a simple, fun and free app called “Sportch”.

The competition is very flexible allowing it to fit around any schedule. You can join or leave at any point, play as much or as little as you want, take breaks as required and play any match format you agree with your opponent.

How to join

Download the free Sportch app from your app store (https://sportch.page.link/app).

- Open the app and tap ‘Sign Up’

- During registration ensure to:

o Select ‘Isle of Man’ as your location

o Select to play in the ‘Location ladder’

o Set your ability level using the slider

You’re done and ready to play!

After signing up, you will be placed in dynamic zone of 5 players within the overall ladder. Your starting position is based on how you self-assessed yourself during registration and your ranking will update as and when results are confirmed.

The app allows you to easily contact opponents to arrange matches, record results and view rankings and results in real time. This is a great way to meet and play with players of a similar standard, enjoy some friendly competition and (hopefully) improve your tennis!
