Use of the Tewin Tennis Club Courts
The original single tennis court here was built in 1971 following a donation to Tewin Parish Council specifically to provide a tennis court for the Parish. Tewin Tennis Club manages these courts on behalf of the Parish Council and keeps the Club membership fees as low as possible (less than 50% of any other local club) so that everyone can afford to join the Club. However, we would like to bring to the attention of all persons resident in the Parish that they may use these courts without joining the Club, provided that they abide by the normal booking and playing Rules. We ask for a contribution towards maintenance of £5 per hour per court (£2.50 for juniors).
For a copy of the Rules and further details, including membership, please see elsewhere on this website.
Tewin Tennis Club reminds all players and spectators that they use these courts entirely at their own risk and the Club accepts no liability.
The nets should not be lowered after use. Please adjust the height of the net only if the measure indicates the need.
If no-one else is playing when you leave, please lock both court gates and the practice court before you go. The courts are locked as a protection against vandalism.
Please take your rubbish with you, including your used drinks bottles and tennis balls. Your committee are all volunteers and have better things to do than clear up after you.
