We were blessed with a delightfully warm day at the very end of June for the club’s summer BBQ at the Upper Green pavilion.  The evening started off, as has become traditional, with some fun tennis organised by Bert and Cheryl, before the grills were powered up and cooking got underway. 

With such a lovely evening to contend with, there was much conviviality overlooking the cricket pitch, and the great music from inside the pavilion was more of a backdrop than a reason to get up and dance, but no matter. The grilled food was accompanied by some pretty marvellous salads and even more amazing deserts prepared by the chefs amongst our members.
