Thanks to everyone who played in, watched and helped run our Finals Day!

It started with the Mixed Doubles final with Jadzia and Nick managing to get the better of Peter Bozier and Nicky McRobert in an entertaining match umpired by Nikki Jackson, dressed sensibly as a trans Atlantic yachts woman.

In the ladies doubles Maria and Jenny McLeod triumphed over Mary Lever and Sam kindly umpired by Anna, who wished she'd been dressed more like Nikki.

Daniel Morris and son Joel Morris defeated Neil Morgan and Will Plumb in a three setter that tested the endurance of the older two, despite leaving the younger ones to do all the running. Thanks to Nick H who umpired.

In the Ladies singles Maria took the title from Nikki, last year's winner and in the Men's Final Nigel King wore down a spirited Alex Brown to win a title that eluded him for a few years. Respect to Daniel M for umpiring in the rain.
