Heidi has won the Essex County Rising Star of the Year Award for 2024 !

She will be presented the award at a ceremony by Essex Tennis in April and is now forwarded to the Regional Awards next along with other County winners.

You may know Heidi as our Junior Coach but she does so much more for the club as a committee member, charity fundraiser and events organiser there is no end to her skills and her commitment to the club is second to none. Heidi has been a trailblazer for girls in tennis establishing a successful girls initiative at Theydon. 

Beyond the club she helped at Essex Tennis and worked within the local school as she’s keen to widen access to tennis to other groups in the community.  

She has been our star for some time now, but great to see her get the wider recognition she deserves!
