Hey Guys, 

Some really exciting news for everyone. We have a new Coach who has joined Theydon Bois LTC. His role will be mainly for coaching our new junior members but will be available for adult coaching too.  His name is Jack Dowsett and he has vast experience with Juniors and Adult coaching. He will be available for private lessons on Sundays starting from this week. Please if you would like to book in with him let me know ASAP as a lot of his slots have gone already and he doesn't have too many slots remaining. I have attached a photo of him with some information regarding his coaching career to date.

Hi I'm Jack Dowsett

"I first started playing tennis aged 5 when my primary school put on weekly sessions. I fell in love with the game and spent many of my junior years on court working on my tennis. After primary school I moved to the David Lloyd Chigwell programme. After working my way through the squad programme I began training at Redbridge sports Centre. I also began competing at local and county level. I captained the Redbridge u18 team for 4 years and won 2 division 1 titles in this time. Aged 16 I took my first steps into coaching as an assistant coach at Redbridge. This was very natural for me and I really enjoyed working with junior players passing my knowledge and experience on. 14 years later I am an LTA level 3 club coach. One of my favourite parts of coaching juniors is seeing their journey from learning the game to competing at any level. I also am a qualified LTA referee and enjoy running regular tournaments. I am very excited to start working at Theydon and getting to know all the Junior and Adult players at the club."
