Welcome to the 2026 Thornden Club Championships.

This is our annual club closed event which will be taking this year between May and Finals day on Sunday Sept 6th.

Finals Day is traditionally a great day on our clubs calendar with some great tennis on display from both our Junior and Adult members. There will also be a barbecue and refreshments available on the day. Hopefully the Sun will shine for us too.

We will be hosting a range of events  as follows

• Girls Singles/Doubles (14 and Under)
• Boys Singles/Doubles (14 and Under)
• Boys Singles (18 and Under),
• Girls Singles (18 and Under),
• Mens Open Singles,
• Ladies Open Singles,
• Mens 45+ Singles,
• Ladies 45+ Singles,
• Mens Open Doubles.
• Ladies Open Doubles,
• Mixed Open Doubles.

This year we will again be using Tennis Tournament Planner (TTP) for the entire process, which facilitates

• Entry Management
• Draw Creation
• Result Submission
• Direct Online Result/Draw Publishing.

For doubles entries, both sides of the partnership to make an entry naming their partner. Please try to arrange your own partners, but you may submit an entry with partner wanted.

All matches in the open categories are the best of 2 normal tiebreak sets, with a deciding 10 point championship tiebereak being played as required at 1 set each.
