On Friday 7th December,  Junior club night played host to the great ‘Thornden bake off’

10 cakes were made of all shapes and sizes amongst the rest of the juniors who came to see the talent on show.

After the tennis games on the court, the cakes were judged by Paul, Jenny and Kelly with a total score out of 90.

After a close contest, Jessica & Jenny came out on top with 74 marks. Close behind was  Xuan with 73 and 3rd went to Kiri Kuwabara & Charlie Cornick with 71.

JUNIOR CLUB NIGHT RE STARTS FRIDAY JAN 17TH  so a few week's break now while Paul gets married!!

Weekend matchwise : Men's C had a tough one against Glebians - 2 tie break 3rd sets going the wrong way for us leading to a 1 - 3 loss. Well played though Martin and Zayan, Matt and Jamie .

Men's A were against another father and son duo in Paul, who got to the quarter finals in dubs at Wimbledon, and Alfie Hand. They managed a 4 - 0 win in a very tight contest on tricky slippery astro courts. Well played Shaun and Jin, Mats and Dan .
