What a winter season for Thornden! For the first time in our history our Men's A team collected the Division 1 trophy not long after our mixed  A team also won the Division  1 trophy. But it doesn't stop there! There was also a major success for our Men's B team who topped Division 2 which means that Thornden will have two teams in Division 1 next winter. 

Next weekend will also be the Men's C team's opportunity to top Division 5 and gain promotion - good luck Thornden! Please come along and support them to help them get over the line. The match will be played at home against Waterside 10 am on Sunday the 23rd. 

Our ladies winter team  was  also successful in  gaining promotion  back to Division 1 as runners up to Riverside. 

Our Mixed B just missed out on promotion but finished a respectable 3rd in Division 3. 

Mixed C ended the winter mid table of Division 5 finishing with an impressive 4-0 win over David Lloyd West End B.

Men's D team also finished mid table in Division 6 and in Division 7 our Men's E team faired similarly and finished with a 3-1 win against Riverside D.

All these great results show the range of opportunities for match play offered by our brilliant club. Well done  players and captains!  Onwards and upwards for the Summer season which starts in April.
