Thornden C had the tough task of facing Division 5 leaders Totton & Eling B once the rain stopped. Chairlady Christine & hubby partner Steve played at 2 and lost to Totton’s 1st, 7-5, 6-4. Soooo close ❤️‍🩹. They came back to beat the 2nd’s 6-2, 6-1 💥. Thornden’s 1st pairs were Peter and Helen for this one. They had a tough battle against the 1st Chris & Rosie, just losing 3-6, 6-3, 0-1. Peter & Helen also came back full strength to beat their 2’s with a score of 6-1, 6-3. Awesome job for a draw against the current table leader
