On Saturday Thornden Men's A  played Ventnor Men's A team in the Solent Cup hosted by Warsash. The Cup is contested between the winners of the Portsmouth League and the winners of the Southampton League.  Also playing were Bassett Ladies v Lee on Solent Ladies. The standard of tennis was excellent and very entertaining under a beautiful blue sky. Thornden was represented by Dan, James, Jin and Mats who all played so well that they managed a convincing 4-0 win . Well done boys- we are very proud of you , your tennis skills and your excellent sportsmanship . Bassett  Ladies won their version of the Cup- well done Bassett.
