The Chippenham & District Tennis League's annual Knockout Tournament finals was held at Chippenham Tennis Club on 11th June 2023.

It was a hot, summers day with lots of fun, competitive tennis being played by many teams in the league. 

Trowbridge Westbourne Tennis Club was well represented by the Trowbridge A team playing in the Knockout Cup final vs Devizes A and the over 50's Knockout Cup being played between Trowbridge A and Chippenham A. Unfortunately, in the over 50's, Trowbridge A was pipped to the post by Chippenham A who won 6-2 but some great tennis was enjoyed.

The Knockout Cup match between Trowbridge A and Devizes A was a tough game. Both teams were evenly matched from the start with a zero handicap, so all games mattered. It was an exciting, competitive match with many spectators watching the last few games to witness Trowbridge A win 44-22 and lift the first trophy of the season!
