Upcoming Tournaments (open to Full Adult Members only)

** Alan Saker Fun Mixed Doubles - Sunday 17th August - Start 1.30 PM **

Join us for a relaxed and friendly doubles tournament, where partners will be drawn on the day. All playing standards are very welcome!

BBQ from 4:30 PM, following the tournament. Please bring your own meat/fish/veggie food, and alcoholic drinks. We’ll provide soft drinks, salad, buns, and cake.

Cost: £6 per person (includes tournament and BBQ) - BBQ only: £3 per person or £7 per family. Family, friends, and all club members are very welcome to join us for the BBQ.

** The John Anderson Trophy - Mens Doubles - Sunday 21st September - Start 1:00 PM **

Join us for this year’s tournament in memory of our much-missed friend, Big John Anderson.

• Partners will be drawn at random on the day.
• Each player will play four games with their partner, and four games against.
• The player with the most total games won will be crowned the winner.

All playing abilities are warmly welcome — it’s all about having fun, just the way John would have liked it. Open to Full Adult Members only. After the tournament we may head to John’s favourite curry house, Mita’s, for a meal together. Bring your own alcohol/drinks.

Update on building works

Legal items are being worked on and imminent with regards to signing the lease. Then back to the contractors for updates on quotes for building the fourth court. Watch this space! 

Regular Tennis Sessions

• Social Tennis: Monday and Wednesday 9.30am onwards. A relaxed and friendly session for all members.
• Full Adult Ladies Session: Monday and Thursday from 5.30pm to 7pm
• Teams' Practice: Mondays from 7pm
• Club Night: Thursday from 7pm. Open to all Full Members. A great opportunity to meet fellow players, mix in for some fun games and sharpen your skills.
