Vernon Park Tennis Courts

Welcome to the Vernon Park Tennis Courts.

The tennis courts are located in a quiet area of the park with access to toilet facilities between the hours of 9am - 4pm. The car park is situated only 20m away from the courts and includes 4 disabled parking bays with a path leading directly to the courts.

Vernon Park is the only park tennis facility which is floodlit, so allows play all year round until 9pm (last game 8pm).  As of May 2024, there will be a £1 surcharge for use of the floodlights due to ongoing increased utilitiy charges.

In order to maintain the courts for the future we are now asking people to pay to play tennis at Vernon Park. You can do this in 2 ways:

1. Pay and Play for £7.00 per court per hour
2. Purchase an Annual Membership which gives you unlimited access to book the courts at Vernon Park, Valley Road, Lenton Abbey, Strelley Recreation Ground and Clifton Playing Fields for just £40.00 per household per year About Membership

Please note you have to book your court in order to get or use a PIN code to access the courts.
