So much has been happening behind the scenes at the club after the initial update last month, we have advanced all thanks to an A-team of members and committee.

Club Seceratery Ann Lunn said 'The people who have volunteered their help have made a huge difference during very uncertain times. They have given the club such fantastic unwavering support  Dave Beck and his wife Jill, John Edwards with help from Simon Hewitt have cleared chopped and planted and seeded the grounds.  Virginie Mellon Davies has cleaned, James Brooks and Will Treen have raked, the effort is phenomenal this is really what the club is all about!'

Chairman Dave Sawyer also wanted to make a special mention to non-committee members David Beck and John Edwards who have spent upward of 100 hours at the courts putting in the effort required to bring the grounds back to their best, without them we would not be where we are now. Thank you both!

VALTC would like to put on record their sincere thanks to the current committee driven by Dave and Ann who have been instrumental in delivering a strong vision through countless hours of both on and off-site work. 
The club has a fantastic history and thanks to our two leaders the club can now have a secure future with fresh courts, new floodlights, clubhouse rejuvenation, grounds replenishment, drainage updates car park extension and just general all-round care and concern for your clubs future.
We are extremely lucky to be able to turn up and play and socialise on a weekly basis at our beloved club.
Let’s make lockdown blues a thing of the past and enjoy the future and vision that the club offers you.

Our courts have been freshly cleaned and repaired where necessary by Courtcare, they really have come up so well and we would like to give Dave Conybeare a huge shout out for the work he has done, we would recommend him to anybody.
