Water Orton & District rounded off another fantastic year with a well-attended and uplifting Presentation Evening, proudly hosted by Water Orton Cricket Club. The club also extends its thanks to Orchard Nurseries and Tesco Water Orton for their generous donations, which helped raise £172 through the evening’s raffle — funds that will go directly back into supporting the club.

The committee offered heartfelt thanks to the coaching team and to Paul for their hard work throughout the year, as well as to the parents who consistently support weekly sessions and remain flexible when schedules change. Young players were also recognised for their dedication, improvement, and enthusiasm, with every child receiving a certificate and medal as a keepsake of their efforts.

A special acknowledgement was also given to the club’s adult team captains — Barker, Burke, Beasley, Hancock, and Oliver — for their ongoing leadership and commitment throughout the season.
