Despite pandemic lock downs and restrictions, we managed to compete in the club tournament and ladder league competition. Great effort everyone.

WTC Premier Ladder League

WTC’s first ever Premier Ladder League ran from April to September 2021. 34 members played 112 matches. Overall winner was Rob Andrew. An absolute master of the game over many tennis years, those of who played Rob agreed it was a privilege losing to someone that good!

Susie Van Kessel convincingly finished as the highest placed woman and 7th overall. Sue Shepheard and Jane Parker took on all comers finishing 2nd (18th overall) and 3rd (25th overall) women.

New members Edward Fox and Adam Hinchliffe finished 2nd and 3rd overall following competitive matches with each other and other players in the top 10. Also picking up medals were Ciaran Osborn as most active player. Stuart Drake was the competition’s most improved player (10th overall).
