Non-members are able to book and play on Court No1 via Pay & Play by Wadhurst Parish Council.

Court hire is £4/half-hour, and tokens for floodlighting, when needed, are £3/half-hour and are reflected in the total fee for the time of day and time of year.  Court No1 may be booked up to two weeks in advance and for up to two hours per booking.

Process:

Step 1 - Check court availability, make your booking & pay online via the Booking tab on the Wadhurst Tennis Club website. (You need an LTA Advantage account - there is a free option.)

Step 2 - Collect the access fob (and lighting tokens where applicable) from Uplands Sports Centre in Wadhurst on the day. To check their opening times, please call or check their website  - 01892 782 136 - www.uplandsportscentre.co.uk.
You need to show your booking to collect the access fob (and tokens) and your details will be recorded.

Step 3 - Use the access fob on the gate panel to enter the courts at Sparrows Green Recreation Ground - Court No1 is the left-hand court as you enter. (Insert lighting tokens, if applicable, into the right hand slot of the meter cupboard on the outside wall the Clubroom.) Please be respectful of other players, especially on Court No2,  when entering / exiting the courts and during play.

Step 4 - Drop the access fob into the silver box BEFORE exiting the courts. (Use twist button on left of gate to exit.)

NB: Uplands cannot book courts for you or help with court bookings. In the event of wet weather, please email Wadhurst Tennis Club and someone will get back to you asap to discuss a possible rebooking or refund.
